100Plus is building a unique consumer experience based on health and healthy behaviors.
We want to elevate people’s knowledge of their bodies and understanding of how daily choices impact their health. We torture large amounts of health data (mainly from Practice Fusion’s 25+ million de-identified clinical data-set and large government health data-sets) and aim to bake them into a fun and engaging app that will change people’s habits and make them mindfully healthy. Data Analytics Intern
Responsibilities
We are looking for a solid all-around data analytics intern, with experience analyzing clinical and behavioral health data. This role will help with internal analyses of our large and growing datasets, and analysis of how our users are using our products.
Qualifications
- Current study in epidemiology or public health is a big plus, although not a requirement for the right candidate
- Knowledge of the following coding structures and databases: ICD-9, CPT, NDC, NHANES, SNOMED
- You love PubMed (bonus points if you love Mendeley even more)
- You love playing with data to see what you find (rather than strictly looking for a specific answer); you like to sit and look for trends, aberrations, correlations, coincidences.
- You can build solid and user friendly analytic frameworks. This can be in Excel, R, Python, PHP or whatever your tool of choice
- You are so obsessive about good analysis that ‘attention to detail’ does not do you justice
